Reaction to Foxsay speech
In Foxsay’s speech, the members of the group vaguely explained their goals to the class. They showed us a video. I really liked the idea of making a video presentation in which you could see the qualities of the group through words like: cunning, self-confident and leadership, willpower, sharpness. At the end of the video their logo appeared which was an orange fox. And yet, I was disappointed that it was so small, it didn’t stick out.
The arguments they put forward to keep and defend their House were as follow: Our Golden Roses logo seemed too feminine to them.
As the vice-captain of the Golden Roses I don’t think that our logo is too feminine, on the contrary there is a lion in the centre holding a rose in its mouth. Below it is written “Pretty Dangerous”.
What’s more, we had a vote to elect a house and I do not understand why we need a second House in addition to ours or else we should vote again between both Houses and stick to the winner. As far as I’m concerned this would be the best solution.
In Foxsay, there are only boys and in the Golden Roses there are only girls. So, we must mix with the others.
A vote is necessary to make us all agree.
